Alright, I know this is late, I just haven't felt like updating in a while....

So. Bakucon. TONS OF FUN! Anyone in OL (or in general) who didn't go - you've GOT TO next year!
It's a pretty tiny con but what it lacks in size it more than made up for in kick-ass people.

Friday I spent most of my morning getting ready and then went to breakfast with my college people then went to pack my stuff/ wait for zezzy and her mom to show up (I hate that we still need one of our parents to check into the hotel for us...)
so about an hour later (yeah they were late) Zezz finally showed up and we were off!
That was the first day we tried out our Phoenix Wright outfits, and I'd say they went over pretty well with everyone there ^^ We ended up posing for alot of pictures, my arm was getting tired from pointing so much.
We met up with some online buddies, my girlfriend (<3) and a few people I know from college (i.e Noah, Applesauce, Harrison, Miranda - my roommate and david's nose - I guess david was there too >.> )and some of us went to go hunt down some lunch. Aparently there was a burger king down the road (we didn't know that) so we ended up going to a gas station and getting some pizza and breadsticks, breaking into a few carameldansen lines and generally causing a disturbance before heading back to the convention. There was this one girl dressed as Link (in the red tunic) and I think we may have gotten on her nerves a little - so Link (who came to town) if you're reading this by any chance - thanks for being such a good sport!

Saturday we did Halloween Town Org. costumes - it was Halloween after all XD
My god it was hard getting all that make-up off my face after o.< but I think saturday was the best day. We were hanging around the dealers room for a good part of it until two thrity before heading over to the Cat's Eye Cafe that was set up in the manga library. Epic - Fun - Times!
When we got in there and were ready to order, they told us the rice dishes would take a long time because their rice cooker broke - needless to say, none of us had anything better to do so from our table there were seven orders of onigiri and two of california rolls.
somewhere between ordering the food and getting it we managed to turn the cafe into a kareoke parlor XD Don't know who it was that first started singing, but everyone seemed to get a kick out of it - we even got the other tables and the people working there to join in! XD when another large group came in and looked freaked out when we started another song we told them "we take requests!"...then hikaru started dancing like Micheal Jackson XD
After we left the cafe we ended up down on floor one playing Freeze with another group of people - it's a fun game, find it on youtube.
we wandered around for a little while, generally goofing off and occasionally going back to the room for pizza until it was time for the Yaoi/Yuri dating game - holy crap did that get weird o.0 All I have to say is: Aladin - please stop rubbing your lamp when there are other people present. Thank you. XD
After that we went into a pannel called "Vampires don't sparkle" (which my roommate gets mad at me every time I mention it >D) That was loads of fun - I tried to gag someone who kept defending twilight and the hostess threw a chair. There were also pictures of David Bowie the Goblin King.
Not much else was happening that night so we turned in and I spent a good five minutes scrubbing black shit off my eyes.

Sunday we amused everyone at breakfast by coming out in pajama pants, iObject! tee-shirts and our Phoenix and Edgey wigs (I had the cravat too) and just came out like that to eat. Got us a couple looks. After meeting up with Tracy (who found our current atire rather amusing) grabbing some free food (which was lousy, I might add) we got into the full costumes and went back down to the convention.
Mostly we were just wandering around until the next dating game (non 17+) it was pretty good.
After that we ended up hanging around in the hallway that never was for a bit and Phoenix started carrying me around again. I object to that kind of thing...
After that we were mostly hanging around upstairs in the lounge area drinking coffe, tea and - in my cafe - hazelnut hot cocoa until it was time to get going.

that's pretty much it - if anyone else has anything they'd like to add - let me know because for some reason I'm drawing a blank!
